BASIC CALULUS
when you choose stem in your senior high school you will encounter a basic calculus subject. This subject must your most prioritize because it is your specialization subject, you must pass this and the other subjects. I've so much learned from basic calculus like limits and continuity, getting the derivatives and the help of our subject teacher miss Vanessa Palacios, she is a beautiful, smart,cute,good teacher and I a ate for us because she treat us as her little brothers and sisters. My first favorite topic is getting the derivatives because it easy to understand the concept of this topic.THE second favorite subject of mine is the limits because you will first analyze the given problem on what process to be done.If you find the process to apply to that particular problem you just simply follow the process just substitute the x.
Basic calculus is very difficult to understand because you need to familiarize and memorize some formulas in order to answer in exams.For me the most difficult part of the basic calculus in the time when you memorize formula for answering questions and problem in exams and quizzes. WE accept the truth that we need to overcome this subject in order to go to the next level of senior high school. I consider this a friend of mine because this subject prepare me to become a good marine engineer.

Yeah Basic all of things around here is basic all problems are basic but be careful if you encounter this subject I can guarantee that you would find basic non basic at all Basic calculus is only the small but terrible child of all calculus this subject means that. T your first day in the kitchen, and you want to bake a cake. What if the recipe simply states to 'just add butter'? Your response would probably be: 'Hey, not enough information! We need formulas, like three teaspoons equal one tablespoon. We need rules like, bake until cooked'.
Although calculus is usually not used to bake a cake, it does have both rules and formulas that can help you figure out the areas underneath complex functions on a graph. In this lesson we will focus on the formulas and rules for differentiation, the method by which we calculate the derivative of a function, and integration, the process by which we calculate the derivative function.
But even though it is Hard we still manage to fight it to all we can thanks to our teachers dedication and help we managed to survive this subject. This subject will really make us what we will be to the future and we must not take it us a joke basic is the beginning for calculus and that we need to cooperate for all our best basic calculus is our specialty and that we need to give it our best.
Yes we always complain but thanks to our teacher it lessen our problematic understanding we like all of the teachers in dcc and they really give their best for us and we also give our best for this matter.

Disaster Risk Reduction Readiness(DRRR)
When we hear earthquake, typhoon, landslide and hurricane it is a natural phenomenon that creates a massive destruction to all living things. Loss of family, loss of friends, loss of relatives, loss of property, loss of comrades and may loss your life. The Disaster Risk Reduction Readiness(drrr) subject it is a key to survive natural calamities because in this teaches us how to prepare and react during calamities. An example of natural calamities is the earthquake the this you need to do is:
Prepared
Electricity, water, gas and telephones may not be working after an earthquake. The police and fire departments are likely to be tied up. You should be prepared to fend for yourself for at least three days, preferably for a week.
You'll need food and water (a gallon a day per person); a first aid kit; a fire extinguisher suitable for all types of fires; flashlights; a portable radio; extra batteries, blankets, clothes, shoes and money (ATMs may not work); medication; an adjustable or pipe wrench to turn off gas or water, if necessary; baby and pet food; and an alternate cooking source (barbecue or camp stove). This list can also be applied to other disasters, such as floods or wildfires.
It’s also a good idea to decide beforehand how and where your family will reunite if separated during a quake and to conduct in-home practice drills. You might choose an out-of-the-area friend or relative that family members can call to check on you.
Securing water heaters, major appliances, and tall, heavy furniture to prevent them from toppling are prudent steps. So, too, are storing hazardous or flammable liquids, heavy objects, and breakables on low shelves or in secure cabinets.
Discuss earthquake insurance with your agent. Depending on your financial situation and the value of your home, it may be worthwhile.
During an Earthquake:
If you're indoors, stay there. Get under -- and hold onto --a desk or table, or stand against an interior wall. Stay clear of exterior walls, glass, heavy furniture, fireplaces and appliances. The kitchen is a particularly dangerous spot. If you’re in an office building, stay away from windows and outside walls and do not use the elevator.
If you're outside, get into the open. Stay clear of buildings, power lines or anything else that could fall on you.
If you're driving, move the car out of traffic and stop. Avoid parking under or on bridges or overpasses. Try to get clear of trees, light posts, signs and power lines. When you resume driving, watch out for road hazards.
If you're in a mountainous area, beware of the potential for landslides. Likewise, if you're near the ocean, be aware that tsunamis are associated with large earthquakes. Get to high ground.
If you’re in a crowded public place, avoid panicking and do not rush for the exit. Stay low and cover your head and neck with your hands and arms.
After an Earthquake:
Check for fire or fire hazards. If you smell gas, shut off the main gas valve. If there's evidence of damage to electrical wiring, shut off the power at the control box.
If the phone is working, only use it in a case of emergency. Likewise, avoid driving if possible to keep the streets clear for emergency vehicles.
Be aware that items may fall out of cupboards or closets when the door is opened, and also that chimneys can be weakened and fall with a touch. Check for cracks and damage to the roof and foundation of your home.
Listen to the radio for important information and instructions. Remember that aftershocks, sometimes large enough to cause damage in their own right, generally follow large quakes.
If you leave home, leave a message telling friends and family your location.

Disasters often follow natural hazards. A disaster's severity depends on how much impact a hazard has on society and the environment. The scale of the impact in turn depends on the choices we make for our lives and for our environment. These choices relate to how we grow our food, where and how we build our homes, what kind of government we have, how our financial system works and even what we teach in schools. Each decision and action makes us more vulnerable to disasters - or more resilient to them.
Yes life is important so knowledge is a great power from an upcoming disaster. And we managed a lot of things from this subject, from volcanoes, earthquake even bondages, we also learn how to make your own drills evacuation map for school and etc.

I can say that I’m the kind of student that I’m not at the top and not at the bottom students when the subject is reading and writing skill or shall wee say English subject because I have some difficulties in writing an essay or something that we need do write about English matter but I know that I can handle that subject because I’m not too easy to give up. When there is a thing to do, it is a challenge to me, it because writing an essay or paragraph is like our life, it’s full of challenges that we need to overcome. To finish an essay or paragraph we need to think more so that we can write a wonderful conclusion or sentences about the subject matter that we need to talk about it. And the others say “History will repeat itself” it happens in all English class because we study the verb since elementary and we still study the verb now in my English class.My favorite topic in rws is reading and analyze the book of little prince because it gives a lesson to us youngster to be a good teenager to the grow ups.In reading the little prince it gives a motivation for me to read another book because you will encounter unfamiliar words and you will persuade to find its meaning, in the neara useful if you will read another book.The difficult topic that I've encountered in rws is Little prince too because when you read the little prince it have a deep English words and it will result to not understand the story but because of the help of our beautiful teacher, Miss Joi Christian Tutor she has a big part in learning Rws subject to us.

This subject Empowerment Technologies is my first favorite subject because it involve technologies and I love learning modern technologies.If you will enroll in Davao Central College and choose stem you will have this subject as a minor subject. In this subject, you will learn how to used Microsoft office tools like word, powerpoint, and excel. In microsoft word Sir Ace teach the basic tools in it like how to use mail merge, how to insert hyperlink inside of it. Sir Ace teach us too how used microsoft powerpoint and excel. The most challenging part in learning Empowerment Technology is making a blog, a blog that promoting stem. Our group task is to have words of promoting every subject of stem so that the grade 10 student will persuade to apply at Davao Central College in their senior high school.My favorite task that sir ace gives to me is being a group leader in group 3 because being a leader have a responsibility to lead his group member to the right path, make sure that the task has been done by them and because of this opportunity my self-confidence has been developing.

I've told you that I'm not good in english subject and 21st-century subject is a english subject so expect that I have difficulties in this matter. I've learned too the poetry especially the poetry of japan the Haiku, the popular poetry in japan. The Japanese poetry which is haiku has a pattern of 5,7,5 syllables in each line. I've learned too the different criticism, which means the analysis and judgment of the merits and faults of a literary or artistic work. For me, the hardest part of learning research in daily life subject is making a research paper because before you will proceed in making introduction, abstract, methodology and conclusion you will think an interesting topic. STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY
In this subject, I learn how to get the mean, median and mode in a given data. but first what is statistics and probability, Probability and Statistics or also called Statistics and Probability are two related but separate academic disciplines. Statistical analysis often uses probability distributions, and the two topics are often studied together. However, probability theory contains much that is mostly of mathematical interest and not directly relevant to statistics. Moreover, many topics in statistics are independent of probability theory. For me the most difficult in learning this subject is the getting of mean of discrete random variable, variance, and standard deviation because it is not difficult that you thought is have a long process to be done and if you have a one wrong in your process it will probably effect the other number and it will result in wrong answer. For the essay topic that I've encounter in statistics and probability subject is getting the mean, median and mode because its process is easy to familiarize and have a 3 formula to follow.

When we hear pe subject is all about your health, physical activity that can improve your physical health. In this subject, i've learned a lot about how to manage your time in order to do some physical health. Physically fit means you are healthy both in and out of your self. I've learned too the different types of traçk and field games like sprinting, javelin throw, discuss throw, long jump, high jump and etc. Because of this knowledge about this physical activities, i can know launch this activity. Physical means the outside of the body it means that having a good health improves our daily activity and makes us more frequent to have a good academic performance, one of the subject that we take in Wednesday is P.E or physical education subject, this helps us learn a lot from having a good health that makes us more prior to do a lot of things in physical aspects, P.E teach us a lot of things from the sports, and all health related things from exercises and good skills that we can use in our daily life, Our P.E is fun lots of lesson on it is more in Basketball which I really enjoyed in my year in senior high school aside from that I learn also how to play scrabble and also I have fought other classmates in chess, well I really like also the dart game but it was a tiring one, I reflect all the things I learn and use it from my daily life for example running when im late ;) that was a fun thing to do and a very useful skill in school, also playing other sports it was a fun subject and one of the relaxing things I learn from the school.
